Official says Russia to start Ka-62 helicopter serial output ‘20

MOSCOW, Dec 2 (PRIME) -- Serial production of multi-purpose helicopter Ka-62 in Russia will begin in 2020 and serial sales at the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021, Russian Helicopters CEO Andrei Boginsky told PRIME on Monday.

“Ka-62 is undergoing running tests at the current stage,” the official said, adding that a soft agreement for four helicopters was signed with the administration of the Primorsky Region.

He also said that the Rossiya special force would receive the first Mi-38 helicopters in 2020.
